Worship

In our faith community and our community at large, we understand that one style of worship does not fit everyone. Therefore, if you come on Sunday mornings at 10:30am, you will receive a fairly traditional style of worship with prayer, hymns, moments of silence, and time for reflection.

Once a month, we offer a contemplative worship service called Poetry, Prayer, and Presence. This service features more silence and time for reflection, along with readings from a variety of contemporary poets.

On occasion, we also offer a vespers service in different musical styles, such as jazz, folk, or bluegrass. This service is generally held in the afternoon at 4pm. If the weather cooperates, we will hold our gatherings outside.

The Spirit is alive and well in the music that is offered by local musicians. The pieces of music are linked together by short reflections.

In the summertime, we also like to experiment with different locations in an outdoor setting for an experience known as Wild Church. This gives us a chance to have a background offered by Mother Nature and to be together in harmony with the great outdoors.
